Our Search Process 1 - 10

  • 1. Take a complete job order which includes the details of position requirements, candidate profile, compensation and company background.

    2. Provide client with the search assignment profile for review, comment and sign-off.

    3. Conduct research of marketplace to include client’s direct and indirect competitors and additional companies that employ candidates with desirable skill sets.

    4. Compile a list of companies and candidates to call.

    5. Conduct in-depth phone interviews to determine if candidates are not only professionally qualified, but are open to change and their career goals match the client’s opportunity.

    6. Submit resumes to client of those candidates that are a fit and arrange a time to discuss each candidate with the client to review their qualifications.

    7. Arrange phone interviews between client and candidates.

    8. Prepare client for the first interviews including candidate’s “hot buttons.”

    9. Prepare candidates for first interview with client by providing background on hiring authority, questions that will be asked by the hiring authority, important questions for the candidate to ask.

    10. Debrief the candidates.

     

Steps 11 - 20

11. Debrief the clients.

12. Professionally release any candidate the client does not wish to pursue.

13. Arrange in person interviews for remaining candidate(s) and discuss concerns with both sides.

14. Prepare candidate(s) for in-person interviews.

15. Debrief candidate and client.

16. Provide a list of references or if preferred a reference check to the client.

17. Negotiate compensation package that will be satisfactory to both parties and make a verbal offer.

18. Cover counter-offers and resignation with candidate.

19. Confirm start date and forward written offer from the client.

20. Remain in contact with the client and candidate through start date and at least the first 90 days of employment.
